Harold & I (Carolyn) have lived most of our lives in Madison County. We began these cottages as our retirement project in 2001. We cleared the land and Harold begain building. We put alot of hard work into our venture; clearing, planting shrubs, flowers and trees, decorating, but mostly alot of love and fun went into it. We opened for business in April 2002 and were so excited when we got our first guests. It has only gotten better since then. We have met such wonderful people and owe our success to the guests who have chosen us and the many of you whom have returned again and again.
